Rogue Legacy is back! But now it's got a 2 in front of it!
Rogue Legacy 2 Rogue Legacy 2 one of the genealogical Rogue-LITE. That means it has all the elements of the typical rogue-like (randomized runs, changing characters and much other things), but with persistent upgrades, and persistent dead heirs. The grind isn't necessary. Be careful and you'll plunge deeper into the mysteries of the constantly changing world. Or don't! The choice is yours! If you have a hardcore platforming system paired with an incredibly deep RPG strategy, anyone can be successful at some point.

Rogue Legacy 2:
An adventure procedurally created. The entire kingdom changes each time a new adventure is played, and no two runs are the same.
Rogue-LITE. Build your manor, improve your standing, and build every child better than the one before them. It's possible to defeat the game at level 1 but it's not required to.
Universal Healthcare. Every child is unique. The child with one trait could be Synethesia while another might be pacifist or just a bit fat. Socialism can earn you gold points for traits that have more debilitating effects than normal gameplay.
Castle Permanence. It's a roguelike, where bosses die.
Each class is equipped with their unique set of armaments. Each class now has their unique set of guns. Do battle against enemies from afar with your bow as the nimble Ranger, or get up and close using the huge Battleaxe in the role of the Barbarian.
Stack Runes Stack Runes. It'll take a while, but if you wanted to be able to jump penta, and lifestealas well as hyperspeed it's now possible!
